For the past months (June – December 2009) we worked hard to maintain, expand and promote our main Christian Resources websites: Intercer Canada (http://intercer.ca) and Intercer Romania (http://intercer.net) with their specific sections like Intercer Tube, Intercer News, Intercer Tv.
Intercer Canada provides logistical tools (rented servers and professional web services) to support all its related websites. Through a joint partnership with Intercer Romania these websites continue to develop and to offer multiple and differentiated Christian resources for our visitors.
While in the past years all this work was done just through volunteer work, this had a negative impact in the health of one of our main volunteers. A change in our work method had to be done, to combine the volunteer work with some paid work. That was discussed in a Director’s meeting in April 2009.
In August 2009 we started a fundraising activity on the web to get some financial support for our volunteer activities and to reimburse some of this work whenever possible. We got a positive response from our website visitors, so our activities could continue in a more efficient manner. A complete financial report will be provided at the end of the year.
We also had a one week fundraising on Facebook in September 2009 and we raised $520 USD for the Intercer Canada’s activities.
We now have an average of 35,000 unique visitors on intercer.net website (targeting Romanian speaking community all over the world). Also we work to expand our English and Hungarian language websites.
We provide free Christian and educational materials and we are glad to see thousands of downloads for the Romanian Audio Bible (mp3), other Christian audio books, audio-video programs (sermons, youth, health & family programs, 
interviews, bible studies etc.).
We were able to answer hundreds of emails with questions about social, educational or Christian subjects.
We received reports about people that need social or health support for themselves or their families. We presented these social and health cases to our public and invited people to help these cases directly through the local contacts provided by them.
Intercer network strives to continuouslly provide people with materials, answers, encouragement and support for their needs. We work to prepare more features and resources and a simple way to make these available for others, through our websites or through local contacts.
